Yacht Tour in Dubai for Tourists: Routes, Prices and What to Bring

·4 min read

In short: a private yacht tour is one of the easiest ways for visitors to see Dubai’s coastline in one trip: Dubai Marina, JBR, Ain Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis The Palm. You book the whole yacht for your group, from AED 998 for 2 hours on the 36 ft Oryx (up to 10 guests). All you need is your original passport.

What tourists see on a yacht tour

The classic 2-hour route leaves Dubai Marina, passes the JBR beach towers and Ain Dubai on Bluewaters, then runs along Palm Jumeirah to Atlantis The Palm and back. With 3 hours you add a swim stop; with 4 hours or more the captain can head toward The World islands. Every stop is explained in our Dubai yacht tour routes guide, and the Palm leg in our Atlantis and Palm Jumeirah cruise guide.

What a visitor needs to know first

  • Passport: every guest must bring an original passport (residents can use an Emirates ID). This is a Coast Guard rule; copies or phone photos are not accepted.
  • Private, not shared: the yacht is only for your group, with captain and crew.
  • Boarding point: Dubai Marina or Dubai Harbour, depending on the yacht. We send the exact location on WhatsApp.
  • Times: start times from 6:00 to 23:30, with a 2-hour minimum.
  • Included: soft drinks, water and ice on every yacht.

Prices for tourist groups

The price is for the whole yacht, so the more people you bring, the lower the cost per person:

Best time of day for visitors

  • Sunset is the favourite: you get daylight views and golden light on the same trip. Book early, it fills first. See our sunset cruise guide.
  • Morning is calm and quiet, good for families and a swim.
  • Night shows the city lit up; perfect after dinner. See our night cruise guide.

Many visitors celebrate on board. Add a cake (AED 150), flowers (AED 200), decoration from AED 150, a photographer (AED 700), Mix Grill (AED 157 per person) or a limousine from your hotel (AED 800, order a day before). Water sports such as a jet ski (AED 500 per hour) run until 6 PM. All options are in our add-ons guide.
