Why winter is the yacht season in Dubai
- Comfortable weather: daytime temperatures are usually in the mid-20s °C, so you can stay on the open deck for hours.
- Calm water: the sea along the Marina, JBR and Palm Jumeirah is usually smooth, which suits families and first-timers.
- Early sunsets: the sun sets around 5:30 to 6 PM, so a sunset cruise fits easily before dinner.
- Swimming still works: the water stays pleasant for a swim stop on most winter days, especially around midday.

- Sunset for two: 36 Ft Oryx for 2 hours (AED 998) + fruit platter (AED 150) = AED 1,148.
- Friends, 12 guests: 44 Ft Luxury Majesty for 3 hours (AED 1,797) + 1 hour of jet ski (AED 500) = AED 2,297, about AED 191 per guest.
- Family lunch, 10 guests: 50 Ft Majesty for 3 hours (AED 1,947) + 10 Mix Grill meals (AED 1,570) = AED 3,517.
Add water sports and food
Winter is also the best season for water sports. You can add a jet ski (AED 500 per hour) or a banana or donut ride (AED 550 per hour) to your yacht; water sports run until 6 PM. See our winter water sports guide.

What to bring in winter
- A light jacket or sweater for the evening; it gets breezy on the water after sunset.
- Swimwear and a towel if you plan a swim stop.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen; the winter sun is still strong.

Book early for December and January
Winter is the busiest season, with holidays, the Dubai Shopping Festival and New Year’s Eve. Weekends and sunset slots fill first. From 27 December to 5 January, bookings are taken on WhatsApp only.
