In short: pick a theme, then the yacht. A sunset party, a neon night or a swim-and-water-sports day all work on a private yacht in Dubai. Party packages include decoration, a cake, soft drinks and a sound system, from AED 600/hour for up to 10 guests; the largest party yachts for 40–90 guests are AED 2,800–3,900/hour.

10 Yacht Party Ideas
- Sunset party. Leave about an hour before sunset and let the sky over the Palm and Atlantis do the decorating. The most popular party time.
- Birthday party. Balloons, a cake and your own playlist. See our birthday planning guide.
- Neon night. After dark, glow sticks, neon outfits and string lights stand out against the lit-up Marina skyline.
- Hen or bride-to-be party. A private deck, music, photos and a swim stop — with a name banner for the bride.
- White or colour dress code. All-white, black-and-white or one colour — simple to organise and great in photos.
- Swim and water sports party. Anchor in calm water and add a banana boat or a jet ski for a high-energy daytime party. See water sports.
- Dinner party. A longer evening cruise with dinner served on deck and the city lights on the way back.
- Graduation party. Celebrate the end of exams with friends — decoration with the year and a cake.
- Company party. A team reward or year-end celebration. See corporate yacht events.
- Jacuzzi party. On the 82 ft Paradise, the on-deck jacuzzi becomes the centre of the party.

How to Plan a Yacht Party
- Pick the theme and the date. Sunset and weekend slots fill first.
- Count your guests — it decides the yacht.
- Choose 2 or 3 hours. Two hours covers the Marina and JBR; three hours adds the Palm and Atlantis.
- Add extras: catering, a photographer or water sports.
- Prepare your playlist — the sound system is included.
- Send guests the meeting point at Dubai Marina and ask them to arrive early.
